Calle Bureo nº 2364, Sector Andalue, San Pedro, Chile belongs to the new suburbs in which every house is designed by the addition of an attic. The look is very common in this place. One of them is the Wolf House – a picture you are looking at. The house is perfectly designed by Mauricio Pezo, Sofia von Ellrichshausen by occupying total site area of around 362 square meters and 136 square meters for the constructed area. This constructed house takes budget approximately US $520 /sqm. The standing house seems to be so concrete and robust with various sizes of windows. Large container window gives allowance for plenty natural lights entering the room. The presence of the Wolf House is perfected by the standing black painted fences in front of it.
The Wolf House and its description in simple words
The Wolf House is built vertically to maximize the area. This existing house is divided into several rooms completed with its own function. The interior view comes roomier and brighter because of the natural light reflected from the large window. The back of the site it is placed a special room for social usage directly connected to the natural ground. This phenomenal Wolf House is very suited as a living home for someone who has been getting married together with their children.
A glance review of Wolf House based on archdaily.com
“Houses with an attic are frequent in this area and in these new suburbs. For many, this is the legal gap when faced with the lack of square meters allowed by the DFL2 (a Chilean law regarding tax benefits on construction). Climbing three storeys seems to be no problem. What is absurd is pretending to occupy the maximum permitted height without questioning pitched roofs (that constantly hit users heads against the low beams).
