The building layout of University Hygienic Laboratory is a singular, open lab space. Along the north and south facades it has been built ribbons of windows to allow plenty of natural lights into the room. Viewed from outside, the construction of the laboratory seems to be solid. The exterior site has been touched with carefully-chosen materials. The second floor lab ‘bar’ has been clad with light-toned brick and limestone. It could create aesthetic presence to the building itself. On the north and south facades, it has been perfected by public and employee entrances.
