The main building of TIPS Fashion Store occupies the ground floor of an old French Mansion in Shanghai, China. Total main site features 105 square meters for its project area. The TIPS Fashion Store is inspired by the persistence of the historical residential environment around it. The internal space seems to be large and could shelter several commercial spaces. Finished in very bright paint, the room feels so open and clear.

The TIPS Fashion Store is indeed very impressive after being enhanced as the previous time it was an old French Mansion. The main store occupies the former dining and living room of the house in which there are still original furniture like woodworks, moldings, fire places, wood beams. In the middle of the store, it is located a long white desk for display and point of sale. Behind the existing pod, it is lied the air conditioning, sound system and ambient lighting of the store.

TIPS Fashion Store is located on the ground floor of an old French Mansion in the heart of the former French Concession of Shanghai.
The preexistence of the historic residential environment drove the design. The house is protected as well as all the existing details inside. The Store is located in the former dining and living room of the house, which kept the original woodworks, moldings, fire places, wood beams, Our design had to be a contemporary contrast within that classical ambience, respecting the existing but drastically changing the appearance of the site.
