Not only do these two pathways define the building’s geometry, but they also offer a unique opportunity to engrave the names of those who fought for Libya in the streets of their capital forever. This space becomes the first museum gallery. A semi-pubic program is also envisioned at this level; a café and a souvenir’s shop receive the exhibition visitors as well as other clientele.

Detailed construction of Libyan History Museum

Libyan History Museum indeed looks very magnificent since it has been claimed as the perfect setting during a piece of Libya’s history. This building features an exhibition center which is connected to the main Jihad Building across the street. Its first basement becomes the place for a temporary large gallery. Two others are used to offering seventy parking spots.

At the first floor, there are two main galleries. The exhibition visit will start from this floor then continuing on the second floor where three more main halls are located. These two floors are articulated by means of double volumes, terrace gardens, and a multi-purpose hall which are offering a multitude of possibilities to organize different exhibitions.
