Let’s see the detail of the existing building of Alam Sutra Residence which is located in residential complex in Serpong, Tangerang of Indonesia. The building of Alam Sutra Residence is surrounded by very good neighborhood of overgrown tree on its parameter. This residence is done well by Wahana Cipta Selaras and built on total project area of around 524 square meters. Viewed from outside, the façade seems to be quite small but it can enclose many needs of the owner as what it is commonly in the urban complex. All about the simple review of Alam Sutra Residence

Start from front façade, the Alam Sutra Residence is accomplished with a wooden box to reveal its modern element coupled with the section of exposed reddish brick wall. On the west façade, the residence gets the use of many small and tall opening to avoid achieving direct sunlight at afternoon time. The inner side of the residence comes with more spacious space by joining dining, living, pantry and even kitchen in unified room but only separated with small partition. For flooring concept, it is accomplished with the use of mezzanine floor to create more casual effect inside the residence. To take the owners upstairs and downstairs, there is provided distinctive formation of stairway.

“The landscape of Alam Sutra Residence was design as integral part with of the main house, specially on the west side, that have a reflecting pool place along the west facade, with a long concrete textured beam portal which have water curtain that resemble rain when its on as a buffer between road as public space and site as private space. The wooden deck on the other end of reflecting have much intimate space created by colonnade bricks, concrete portal and wooden bridge at front that use as master bedroom balcony. The existing tree blending well with the new landscape and the building which enrich the house as a whole.
